Frickity frackity........

For Pete's sake, right?  Why Saturday night?  At least we would have a two day jump on adjusting to one of the most absurd propositions ever.  It's been proven over and over that none of the "advantages" ever bore any fruit.  It has been proven to reduce productivity.....and make most people cranky and tired.  We don't even have the excuse that we forgot to set our clocks, since everything changes without effort.  Ugh.

I am praying for Ukraine.......

Love, 365

  1. Thankfully Arizona doesn't change the time, but our cell phones decided to spring forward. That was not a joy this morning to have the 6 a.m. ring at 5 a.m. Hubby had to get up at 6 to make it to church for the worship band. Unbeknownst to us, the cell phones adjusted the time (even though we have it set for Arizona time zone). I got out of bed when the alarm rang and then he said "wait, what time does your clock say?" It was a regular clock, not the cell phone time. I said "4:59". Then I checked my cell phone and it said 6 a.m. too so we figured they had sprang forward without us. Not fun! At least we could go back to sleep for an hour :) Praying for basically the whole world right now.

    1. Work is one thing, but church is another, isn’t it? I expected not many people on time (Greeks are rather notorious for being late), but I was so surprised! And since I’ve written this, our government has decided to stop changing it up twice a year ~ well, I guess it won’t go into effect until fall of 2023….but at least there is an end in sight!

  2. I think time change is ridiculous. Europe has been talking of dumping it for years. Having said that, we change onto summer time at the end of the month. Can't wait!! Longer evenings will be wonderful. Maybe this year they won't change back again.

    1. We only have two more to go! Woo hoo! Everyone I know was overjoyed. Perhaps it will carry over the pond to you.

  3. Moving the clocks seems to be 'easier' than getting work places to change their start/finish time so that people can adapt their lifestyles and working commitments to the seasons. Maybe the slightly more flexible working arrangements that COVID has gifted us will permit us to make seasonal changes without moving the clocks. xxx mr T

    1. Oh, I think employers don't have much care for all us adapting! But at least now the end will be in sight....

  4. Wish we would just stay on one spot and be done! The whole country wants it.

    1. Yes, it is. And as awful as it is, I am watching. And judging Putin as I do.
