Good news comes our way.......

New Mexico sunset

Romeo has accepted a teaching position with a charter school teaching 9th grade algebra!  On Monday he meets with HR to complete the details.  I assume the pay/benefits will begin in July, when they begin their training twoard the end of July.  Although there may be a 30 day wait period.

In other news.....

Holy crap, it's gonna get really hot around here......I'm really glad I don't live in Arizona.

And........

We had a retirement party for one of our hygienists at work, who has been working with our Doc for over 20 years.  She's always upbeat and fun, and we're going to miss her!  Her last day of work is next Friday, so I'm going to have to figure out what to make for snacks that day.

Well, gotta run....enjoy your weekend!
Love, 365

  1. Did you take that sunset photo? It's amazing!!!

I don't know how anyone could live in that heat, even with air conditioning. But then again, my idea of perfect weather is Svalbard, so I might be abnormal...

    Congrats to Romeo!

    1. Oh, how I wish that were my photo! I got it off the "Only in New Mexico" Facebook page...
Luckily the weather has cooled down a bit. Today is supposed to be 97 instead of 102....
Thank you! I am soooo looking forward to having insurance again.

  2. Hope the job is a good fit for your man.

And I HATE HATE HATE the heat. I'm sitting in my kitchen right now wearing a long sleeved t shirt and considering which sweatshirt I need to put on. It's a little chilly in here.

    1. Thanks, Ami. I think he's pretty excited ~ as we all are before we start a new position.
Well, I am a big fan of summer...the shorts and tee shirts, and either barefoot or sandals. We don't usually have temp's this high. I was happy to hear that they lowered our high temp today from 102 to 97.
