Winter is coming!......

I suppose otters don't feel the cold so much.  However, being totally adorable takes you a long way....

I was sick the Monday before Thanksgiving with what is charmingly called the "two bucket virus" or norovirus.  I'll let you figure out why you would need two buckets.  That was no fun for 8 hours.  The next day was a wash, as you need another 24 hours to rehydrate.  Somehow I managed to fix the sides for Thanksgiving, but kept having episodes of dizziness.  I was glad it was all over ~ which is sad because normally I love Thanksgiving!

Then on Friday night, Romeo and I had a terrible fight.

I've never been so glad to see a week behind me.

Tomorrow I am in charge of the Christmas decorations at church.  All the stuff is in the basement, which isn't scary except for the stairs!  I don't know who constructed them, but they should be flogged.  They are too short and too steep.

Wednesday we bake tsoureki for the Christmas bake sale.  Then I'm done for the week, hurrah.

I have my shopping done, which is super easy since the only shopping I have to do is for the Grandkids.  We don't get anything for each other ~ what do we need?

I still have plenty of projects I have lined up, so I guess I'll go work on one of those.  I hope you have a great week!

Love, 365

  1. Ughhh, I just had noroviruse, too!
We don't do gifts anymore, no one needs anything. :)
Rest, norovirus was designed to kick our asses.

  2. 2 bucket virus. Most descriptive!! Hope you're rid of that.
Tsourekis are everywhere now and only 2 euros in the supermarket. I'm tempted to buy one but I know I could easily eat it all by myself.
Can imagine the wonderful aroma when you're baking.
I think I've finished my Xmas shopping too. I have to get it all out and check. And wrap darn it

    1. I love tsoureki! We hope to have around 95 or so. Last year they sold so quickly we had to tell people we're out!

  3. Norovirus is no fun at all. Did the dogs sit on you for comfort? Mr T used to Dr me if I was sick. The bug is so sapping I can't imagine how you managed Thanksgiving.
